Madison Township Sunday School Convention Planned at U B Church
The sixth semi annual convention of Madison Township Sunday Schools will be held at the U B Church next Sunday May 11th with an arranged program and expected strong attendance. Officers: Homer Ward president Wm Bechtel vice president Miss Zella Ackerman secretary treasurer. The day features devotions readings discussions and music with sessions in the afternoon and evening led by local leaders and guests.

Martha Ann Phipps Bandy aged about 90 died at Mary M. Phipps home five miles east of town after long illness. Born February 13 1830 in Kentucky she lived in Lawrence County before moving to Davis and Martin counties. She was survived by two half sisters and was a United Brethren Church member. Funeral at Mt Olive Church with Rev Milton Herron. Burial in Mt Olive Cemetery.
