Bayle Essa and Otto Henderson of Scotland visited friends here last weekend. Several families hosted visitors including the Cunninghams, Bays, Wikles and long list of neighbors. A daughter was born to Mr and Mrs Carl Ayers Sunday morning. Roads are reported in excellent sleigh riding condition.
Southern VanBuren notes report Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wilson visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wilson on Thursday. Mr. Calvin Perkins made a business trip to Odon Saturday. Jas. Wallis and Mrs. Ora B. Nail married last Tuesday at the Walls home with Rev. D. P. McCoy officiating. Walls is a mechanic formerly employed at Myers Light and Power Co. plant. The Journal releases a new city directory for the Flint Kyle telephone company this week after board reorganization and number changes.
