Public highway improvement petition filed in Daviess County
A group of over fifty Madison Township freeholders filed a petition with the Daviess County Board of Commissioners requesting grading drainage and paving with gravel on a public highway from the Odon and Shiloh route to Grove Street and Ace Street in Odon Indiana. The petition, supported by attorney E T Laughlin, asks for a 40 foot wide macadamized road about a half mile long to connect to the nearby public highway, noting no towns in the township exceed 30 000 inhabitants and that the project serves public utility. The hearing is set for the board's January term on January 6 1920.
