Death of Hazel Ferguson After Corn Kernel Chokes Child
Hazel Roberta Ferguson died suddenly at four miles southwest of Odon after a corn kernel lodged in her trachea. She was born October 16 1916 and died December 19 1919 at age three years two months three days. Funeral services were held at the United Brethren Church in Odon with burial at Walnut Hill.

Wirtsel Rosenberry and Miss Josephine May Barker were married at the home of Rev. J. W McCurtry of the U B church Pleasant Hill charge. The couple, both well known, were joined in marriage at 6 30 Wednesday evening December 10. The bride is the Barker daughter from near Newberry and a beloved young woman. the groom is the Rosenberry son from near the city, an Odon High School graduate of 1914 and a progressive, industrious young man. They have many friends who extend best wishes.
