Bobcat Tale From Hudson Highlands
A Doodletown hunter recalls a bobcat captured by his son last winter. The yearling sold for 25 dollars at Tompkins Cove to a buyer who had it stuffed. The animal weighed about 40 pounds then and could reach 75 with better feed. Local residents confirm the animal’s sighting near Orange County and Fat Montgomery.
