Oscar Wadsworth returns to Indianapolis after visiting his parents east of town. Oat sowing is the current farm work if weather permits. Anderson Overton and Noble Callahan visited J. B. Anderson on business. W. T. Doyle and wife visited Mrs. John Casey’s family southeast of Center. Joseph Cargol and wife of Bicknell stayed with Mrs. Cargol’s parents, the Wim Hewitt’s, here last week. Sims and Cunningham have refreshed their store interior with papering and painting. J. B. Spaulding and wife were in Loogootee on Saturday. Charles Trueblood and wife visited John Merrifield’s near Burns City. The marriage of Everett Jones and Anne Kidwell was announced at St Joseph’s church. Mr. and Mrs. M. O. Pate visited Mr. and Mrs. Winfield Zigler south of town. A. W. Stucky leased his coal mine to son Sherman and moved to the farm west of town. Sherman moves to the home place. Time Holland of here went to Oden Saturday. T. G. Wadsworth made a business trip to Oden and Elnora on Tuesday.

Notice To Improve Public Highway In Daviess County
Petition filed with the Auditor of Daviess County Indiana seeks highway improvement in Madison Township. Fifty freeholders and voters request drainage and gravel paving for a 40 foot wide road starting at section 26 and extending to section 23, with no town population over 30,000. Petition dated April 9 1912 and to be presented May 9 1912 with endorsements.
