Car Crash Kills Republic Man in County Early Morning

Harold F. Roth, 24, of Republic, died at the scene when a car driven by Ronald A. Miller, 30, of Greenwich, lost control south of New Haven at 3 40 a.m. Roth was thrown onto the highway as the vehicle flipped. Miller was slightly injured and charged with speeding. The 1944 car was demolished. Funeral services set for Reed Assumption Church.

SC Approves New Salary Schedule For Teachers
