Council Votes To Sell Land Near Mobile Home Park
City Council revived an ordinance to sell 3.2 acres north of Gallup Avenue near Tedech Corp’s mobile home park project. The measure passed 4-3 on first reading with one councilor undecided. The land would go to the highest bidder, with three members opposing. A traffic study prompted a recommended light at Gallup and Milan, and Gallup is slated for widening to three lanes 200 feet from the intersection.
