Norwalk council sent the 1968 city budget to the county budget commission. The plan projects spending of 2 180 952, about 66 272 more than expected revenue. Ohio traffic toll easing but still high in 1967
Ohio's 1967 eight month road toll reached 1,545, four per cent below 1966. Highway Safety Director Warren C. Nelson said if the trend continues, the year could finish more than 100 deaths under last year's toll of 2,605 as motorists keep driving safely.

London Health Ministry said doctors and nurses at a Northwest London hospital operated under a 16 month directive not to resuscitate patients over 65 with chronic diseases. The order, pinned May 1966, was cancelled by Health Minister Kenneth Robinson after BBC disclosure.

Rioting Tame in Columbus and Dayton After CORE Rally
Police restored order in Columbus and Dayton as youths smashed windows looted stores and assaulted property following a CORE rally over housing. In Columbus 12 arrests occurred four for burglary and one cruiser was damaged while 40 active participants were noted.
