Shots Fired At Trucks In Ashland County Night Incident
Two semitrailer trucks were fired upon in northern Ashland County. Gene Buyers, 37, of Midvale Ohio, reported a bullet hole in his hood after a shot near the radiator on U.S. 250, about 3 30 a.m., while another truck carrying steel had five rear gunshot holes. George Feinestein, 54, of North Ridgeville, heard shots near Route 224 shortly before midnight and notified the Findley State Highway Patrol. Patrols believe passing cars fired the shots.
