Susie Adams Leads 18-Girl Pro Football Prospect Team
A Cleveland agent signs 18 women to play exhibition football with the US A Daredevils coached by Marion Motley. Suzie Adams, a 4 foot 8 inch, fearless 20 year old model, headlines a planned roster of 275 to 300 pound players who will tackle male opponents in promotional games aimed at drawing crowds. The venture envisions female players earning 3000 dollars per game as they pursue field goals and passes rivaling male pros.
