Human Relations Group Backs Housing Code Endorsement
Norwalk Mayor's Committee on Human Relations voted Thursday night to endorse a housing code previously read twice by the Huron County Board of Health. The board postponed the third reading at its Aug. 4 meeting awaiting a new health commissioner. A. Michael Sumser called the endorsement long overdue and led the motion. The eight members present unanimously supported it as part of broader efforts to educate the public on anti discrimination and housing issues.
