Wallace Plans Blitz in Ohio as Wallace Ads Hit Daily Papers

Wallace supporters announce a last minute advertising blitz with ads in every Ohio daily newspaper on Sunday and Monday. Sage Lyons says TV spots will run on major stations and radio spots in towns of any size. Volunteers will hand out at least a half million pieces of literature on Saturday.

Nixon Attacks Humphrey From Minnesota Invasion

Richard Nixon campaigned in Minnesota accusing Hubert Humphrey of blindly following Lyndon Johnson and lacking the courage to dissent. He argued Humphrey would not lead in the White House, saying a man who trotted meekly behind his master cannot be expected to lead.

A Norwalk committee hosts a 7 30 p m public meeting at City Hall to review the proposed charter. Charter commission chair Domenic Coletta will not attend amid internal splits over civil service changes. Clarence Poole Named Interim CAC Director in Sandusky

Clarence Poole, director of the East End Opportunity Center in Sandusky, is appointed interim director of the Eric Huron Community Action Commission replacing Emerson Cole who resigns to become Northwestern Ohio Civil Rights Commission director. Announcement came from Robert Oglesby of Sandusky. A sample Huron County election ballot appears on pages 4 and 5 for the November 5 elections.
