Bar Replies To CAC On Legal Aid Program Endorsement

The Huron County Bar Association mailed a reply to the Erie Huron Community Action Commission about approving a legal aid program. CAC director Emerson Cole and program coordinator George Hayduk met with the bar two weeks ago. Erie County Bar has endorsed the project. The request seeks funding for a full time attorney plus five staff to provide counseling to those in poverty.

Ohio Olympic Champ Joins HHH Canton Stop

Hubert H. Humphrey arrived in Canton with Olympic boxing champion Ron Harris and a crowd of about 150 at Akron Canton Airport. Harris, a Canton native and Kent State student, joined Humphrey at Malone College for a rally before he spoke at the Summit County Courthouse and Admiral King High School in Lorain.
