Detroit sentry reports that Chevrolet recalls 500 early 1969 Blazers to replace incorrect round outside mirrors with rectangular ones and to correct fuel line seal omissions. The fix also addresses a decal misread indicating neutral when the transmission is in gear, reducing dust and exhaust fumes intrusion through missing fuel filler neck seals.
Warren Rice of Columbus, about 40, fell 12 floors while cleaning windows. His safety belt, though worn, was not attached to building hooks. He worked for Buckeye State Window Cleaning Co. in Columbus.
