The Norwalk Police and Huron County Sheriff show higher crime solution rates than the national average. From February to September 33 burglaries in Norwalk yielded 20 solved, a 61 percent rate. The sheriff has solved 26 of 85 burglaries this year, about 31 percent, sparking debates on reporting and transparency.
