Norwalk Charter Commission Eyes May Primary Vote

The Norwalk charter panel voted six to two to place the city charter before voters in the May primary with a split view on a special election. Some members favored the primary to boost turnout while others urged cost analysis for a separate election. The group also advanced Article 12 provisions and sought a secretary as minutes were previously handled by volunteer staff.
