LSD In Leg Not Evidence, Ohio Supreme Court Rules
The Ohio Supreme Court ruled that evidence seized from an artificial leg used on Jerry Lee Sipe and two companions during a May 27, 1970 arrest near the Ohio State University cannot be used in their narcotics trial. Sipe was convicted by a Franklin County Common Pleas Court jury of illegal possession and possession for sale of a hallucinogen after police found 235 LSD tablets in his leg.
