Truck Leaves Road Slams Power Pole In Huron County

A semi trailer left U S 224 at Townline Road 79 and struck a power pole after its left front tire blew. Arthur R. Kuntz of Lorain, driving the 1974 Peterbilt owned by Eugene A. Smith, sustained no major injuries. The truck traveled 300 feet into an open field before the impact and is under sheriff investigation.
