Understanding Selective Service classifications and city job exams
The text explains that local medical advisors appointed by the President can classify registrants as disqualified or into Class I-Y or IV-F, with further steps to Armed Forces examination if needed. It notes that inductees are Class I-C and describes where to register, authority for using agency data, and son’s registration on 18th birthday. It also lists Norwalk city civil service exams for 1968 with job titles, dates, and basic requirements.
