Virgil E Cox 56 dies in Norwalk after heart attack
Virgil E Cox 56 of 17 Fruen St Norwalk died in his sleep at home after an apparent heart attack. A Coshocton Ohio native and WWII Army Air Corps veteran, he worked 30 years at Certain Teed Products Avery and was a VFW Post 2743 member. He is survived by wife Betty Jane, daughter Marilyn Ann Thomas, son John A, three grandchildren, his father John Cox Sr, six brothers and three sisters. Friends may call at Kubach Smith Funeral Home Norwalk with a funeral Thursday at 1:30 pm and burial with VFW rites at St Paul Cemetery.
