Norwalk men cause ruckus with knives and assault
Two Norwalk men sparked police activity Thursday night at the Shamrock Tavern and later at Sheller Globe Corp. One man displayed a knife, another dropped a large knife from his boot after being asked to remove it. An employee reported an assault. no charges filed. A separate fire at a National Muffler Co area was blamed on an electrical short but extinguished by staff. In Sandusky, an Edison High School freshman overdosed on THC at school and was treated at Memorial Hospital. classmate Robert Wheeler, 18, of Huron, was charged with selling hallucinogens and jailed on $20,000 bond. the girl was later charged with delinquency.

A three year old girl was struck by a car on East Main Street Thursday evening. Driver John E Swabley 16 of Norwalk said he slowed at Hitching Post parking lot but the child ran in front of his nearly stopped vehicle. She was taken to Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital with a bruised cheek.
