Willard Mayor Court Fines List Involving Local Residents

The Willard Mayor's Court fined Arthur Kutch $10 and costs for an expired license, Charles Howell $15 for excessive noise, Jesse Funk $160 and five days jail plus left of center charge, Ernest Luna $10 and $100 with jail for two charges, Robert Dix $100 and five days jail for trespassing, Ronald Humphrey $20 and $125 with three days jail for reckless operation and DWI. Bond forfeitures: Thelma Polachek $25 and James Thomas $50.

New London High cutting vo ag prompts cost and future shifts

The New London High School vo ag program remains cut but can be reinstated if enough students enroll to cover costs. Superintendent Hurley explained the board studied the issue for months and that only 23 boys enrolled this year. With state aid, the district faced a 1513 shortfall, and without aid next year the cost could hit about 1000 per student.
