Chester Sisson Boss of Benedict School Crosswalk Retires
Chester Sisson 73, longtime boss at the Benedict School crosswalk, plans to retire after 13 years of guiding students across Walnut and Benedict. He drove for Norwalk Trucklines 22 years and has been married 51 years to Wanda. Students praise his kindness and safety, with heartwarming memories of hugs, smiles, and a trusted routine. He notes winters are hard and wonders who will replace him. The kids fear the corner losing its special sense of security.
