Cemetery plan turns Woodlawn into nature walks
Clarence Ellett, cemetery supervisor at Woodlawn, promotes nature walks and informal tours of historic gravesites. Since last summer he has urged donations of trees and shrubs, overseen planting, and drawn local groups into the project. The private cemetery relies on donations, with plots at 175 dollars and a goal of an arboretum featuring plant life and marked graves for guided or self guided tours.
