Ohio teen Marine indicted for threatening Johnson
A 17 year old Marine from Ohio, Pvt Jimmie Robert Powers of Dayton, is under indictment in San Diego on two counts of threatening the life of President Johnson. He was arrested April 24 and held on 25000 bail. He allegedly threatened to kill Johnson on February 19 and March 27 and mailed letters blaming Johnson and John F Kennedy’s assassination to the President and Johnsons son in law.
