Mayoral Campaign Quiet as Primary Nears in Norwalk

Norwalk candidates Wayne Goodsite and Hank Schaper, with other local officials, held a low key session at Don's Coffee Corner. The event, sponsored by the revived Norwalk Republican Club, drew mainly political regulars and focused on general issues and economic growth rather to discuss concrete plans or contrasts. Both candidates endorsed industrial and commercial expansion and bonds for development while avoiding definitive stances on parking. Goodsite highlighted city upgrades and water projects and urged retaining local workers.
