Last Night I Went to Euclid Beach at CMA Show
Cleveland artist Mary Dice Pettit sold her memory painting at a May show and it remains on display through May 13. The piece, Last Night I Went to Euclid Beach, portrays a girl on a runaway carousel pony heading toward a candy stand, sparking memories for Pettit and other Cleveland area residents. Pettit, mother of three, has painted about 900 works and juggles art with teaching earlier in her career. Her works span Ohio scenes and portraits and are also shown at Beck Center and her home studio.
