Huron County Sets Oats Loan Rate at 1.10 Per Bushel
Patrick Nolan, chairman of the County Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation committee, announced that Huron County will have a loan rate for oats of about 1.10 per bushel in 1977. He said the USDA raised the loan rate 28 cents from 1976 to 1.00 per bushel nationally, and that the county rate is usually higher than the national average.
