Memorial services set for William Magnuson drowned in reservoir

Memorial services for 21 year old William Patrick Magnuson will be held at St Paul Catholic Church with Rev Richard Buckenmeyer officiating. Magnuson drowned at a reservoir near Morehead Kentucky on April 22 while in a motorized canoe about 250 yards off shore. His body remains unfound as stormy conditions hinder search efforts. He was a Morehead College junior majoring in radio television with a 3.7 average and held memberships in Alpha Epsilon Rho and Gamma Beta Phi. A memorial scholarship fund for sports journalism at Morehead College has been established in his name. He is survived by his mother Marian Magnuson, a sister Ann Langhols, and brothers Eric and John plus nieces and nephews.
