Monroeville water plant operations under fire at council meeting
Village officials heard a citizen accuse the water filtration plant of poor operation and improper use of funds and equipment by the plant superintendent. James J. Health Board Moves To Revoke Best Mobile Homes Park License
The Huron County Board of Health voted to seek revocation of the Best Mobile Homes Park license on Route 61 after repeated failures to correct deficiencies found in inspections. Sanitarian Clarence Ellett cited a nonoperational chlorinator, sewage near a trailer, rubbish, exposed 220 volt electrical boxes, and other hazards including oversize trailers, no fire extinguisher, no posted park rules, and standing water. Prosecutor Bernard Freeman was asked to pursue the action. owner Raymond J. Best was not present.

North Fairfield House Declared Nuisance by Health Board
