Differences Between I V and IV F Classifications
I V means the registrant is not currently qualified for service but could become so in war or national emergency. IV F means the registrant is not qualified for any service now or in a war or national emergency. Court review is limited to jurisdiction questions when challenged after reporting or being ordered, with review allowed only to the extent there is no factual basis for the assigned classification.
