Falling Bridge Beam Kills in Akron Ohio

Carter rules out wage price controls on inflation

Former City Man Drowns in Hawaii Beach Incident

Francis Terry Wiedemann 24 a former Norwalk resident drowned Monday near Kahuku Hawaii while swimming near his home on the Oahu north shore. The death followed a large wave that overwhelmed him as bystanders saw no chance to help. Survived by his wife Patti and son Matthew, he served in the 25th Infantry at Schofield Barracks and later lived in Hawaii with part-time study. Funeral arrangements are set with Heuston Gerber Funeral Home and Mililani Mortuary, with burial in Norwalk.
