An 11-year-old boy confessed to arson at Washington Elementary School in Cincinnati after threats to blow up the building. He was turned over to juvenile authorities following his arrest when found with a wrist watch stolen from the principal’s office.
Australia will increase its combat forces in Vietnam from about 1500 to 4500 with the 1st Royal Australian Regiment set to be relieved in May. The move comes as the government confirms the expanded commitment amid the war effort.
