Wiedemann Begins Campaign Nominating Petition Loop

Robert A. Wiedemann of 248 E Main St picked up nominating petitions Friday at the Huron County Board of Elections for the county court judge seat. He is the first to file petitions with a filing deadline of August 10. Wiedemann, a former Norwalk city solicitor and Norwalk Township justice of the peace, has served as county court judge since 1958. He is a partner in Hiltz and Wiedemann in Norwalk, is married, and has seven children.

Near 1000 Open Confab At Norwalk Circuit Meet

Jehovah Witnesses held the opening session of a circuit convention at Norwalk Junior High School attended by about 1000 delegates. Hermod Jensen of Brooklyn delivered the main address on making disciples of all nations. College plans Erie branch funding request

Dr Richard Jeffery of the COED committee told Bowling Green State University trustees that COED has grown since its formation and urged state funds for a campus branch serving Erie Hur on and Ottawa counties. Final figures show over 1.1 million raised toward a 1.8 million allocation from the State Board of Regents.

Bowling Green trustees approve fee hike and campus plans

Bowling Green State University trustees vote a $60 per semester increase for in state students and $135 for out of state students. The meeting also approves seeking state funds for a local campus branch and outlines final site options and a Building Committee.
