Hot Lunches Resume at Norwalk Senior Center
Services For The Aging restarts its hot meals program at the Senior Center 85 W. Main St Norwalk next Wednesday and Friday. Reservations by noon the day before required as space is reduced. Meals start at noon and will be prepared at Dons Coffee Corner then trucked to the center. Prices remain 50 cents per meal while options for additional sites are negotiated.

Stolen Bikes Found Reported and Recovered
Police said several bicycles were stolen or found on Thursday. Mrs. Codeluppi of 2 Harkness St. reported her son’s bike stolen from near League Street School. A bike found behind a Prospect Street house is being checked for ownership. Craig Livengood of 238 E. Main St. reported his bike stolen from his carport earlier this week. John Thurman of 9 N. Garden St. found a bike licensed to Sharon Lugtig at 104 Benedict Ave.

New Norwalk police cruiser damaged in transit to dealer
A new Norwalk police cruiser delivered to Bob Meyer Chevrolet Thursday arrived with a smashed back window and dented roof after an unloading ramp allegedly failed to be secured by the truck driver. Chevrolet spokesman Leonard Westrate called it transit damage and said it happened en route to the dealership.
