City may let Continental try Home Box Office TV
Norwalk City Council tentatively approves a 30 day trial for Continental Cablevision’s Home Box Office series from October 18 to November 16 1979. The plan requires waiving the 12 channel contract with Continental while offering 15 current movies five sports specials and five Las Vegas style shows monthly at 8.95 dollars per month with free service during the trial period.
