Driver Says Accelerator Stuck Rams House And Yard
Raymond J. Brinzley, 43, of Sandusky, drove from the B and B Bar lot after his car allegedly sped off with a stuck accelerator. It crossed two properties, crashed through a fence, damaged a porch and rose bushes, and finally struck the Hipp residence at 12:04 a.m. Brinzley blamed stuck accelerator and possible transmission damage from a prior accident.

Police Nab 8 Youths In Crackdown On Shoplifting

Norwalk Fire Chief defends training as city council grills program
Norwalk Fire Chief Kenneth Link defended the department’s training and equipment testing before the City Council on Tuesday. Councilman Allen Hakes pressed for answers to criticism of firemen training. Link said a state required tri yearly refresher course is underway and noted a new instructor with Bowling Green University certification.
