Transplant Patient Doing Very Well After Bone Marrow Graft
Gary A. Lickfelt, a 31 year old from Erie County, is reported by Dr. George Santos of Johns Hopkins to be doing very well two weeks after a bone marrow transplant. Blood tests show marrow beginning to produce blood cells, though final success will take one to two more weeks. The transplant used marrow from his younger brother Ronald, who lives in Milan.
