Willard Plans Youth Center Survey Beginning August First
Willard residents will be surveyed starting August 1 to gauge support for a youth center. The survey, run by Willard Federated clubs, follows the reorganization of the Willard Youth Memorial Association in 1965 to aid local youth. The WYMA owns two Woodbine Street lots for recreational use and trustees include Dr. John Rosso as chairman, Mrs. Dale Williams as secretary, and Wilkinson as treasurer. The group aims to establish a youth activities center and later a permanent community facility, after previously planning to open the Hi-Spot center last fall. A federation team will distribute questionnaires citywide, returning in about a week to collect them.
