Two 4-H Members Head to Washington for Citizenship Focus
Huron County 4-H youths Gail Calhoun and Richard Ruess, both 17, were chosen for the Citizenship Washington Focus program in D C. The week long session, with teachers including senators and congressmen, aims to teach rights responsibilities and heritage through hands on experience. Over 200 Ohio 4-Hers and advisers will participate, traveling from Fremont and Defiance areas by bus this week. The trip is sponsored by the Norwalk Reflector and sponsored by the National 4-H Council with the National 4-H Center as host.
