Cleveland police officers face a revised dress code banning excessively thick or bushy mustaches beards goatees or muttonchop sideburns and requiring neat grooming. Policewomen must avoid heavy makeup or hairstyles that restrict vision and keep hair longer than collar length pinned up.
The U S grain company contracted to sell two million metric tons of hard winter wheat to the Soviet Union for delivery through August 1976. Agriculture Secretary Earl Butz said the sale would not greatly affect U S consumer prices. Cook Industries Inc of Memphis Tenn was named as the seller. the deal could be worth about 294 million dollars given Wednesday prices.
