David Hamilton Warnock, 17, collapsed and died after inhaling fumes from a hair spray can during a beach gathering near Carmel California. The event involved teens and hippies around a fire. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
In Boulder, a University of Colorado art show featuring 100 paper plates filled with horse manure draws record attendance and sharp criticism. The piece, titled Colorado Scene, was created by three graduate students seeking a low cost, meaningful project.
