Water panel stalls again as quorum fails
The Citizens' Technical Advisory Committee on water quality control failed to reach a quorum for a second time, taking no action on the OEPA draft plan to meet 1972 Clean Water Act requirements. Seven attendees, including C. B. Roscoe and OEPA officials, discussed upcoming deadlines and proposed a policy advisory group, with the next meeting slated for February 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Huron County Administration Building.

H Edward Leveritt, former Milan councilman, was appointed Tuesday to fill a council vacancy. He replaces Glenn Rockwell Jr whose term ends in December after Rockwell resigned for personal reasons. Leveritt heads the North Star Council of Governments, serving Huron Seneca Wyandot and Crawford counties.
