Airport Lawsuit Stalls as Lease Talks Collapse

The Huron County Airport dispute stalls after months of talks fail to progress toward settlement. Zoellner, operator of the airport, sues the airport authority, county commissioners and Norwalk, seeking to defend his 20 year lease after the authority sought to oust him in 1976. Assistant Prosecutor Jack Fynes had said talks were moving forward, but the latest meeting left the case back to its starting point, with Norwalk’s Ronald Freeman doubting a return to court is unlikely.
