President Johnson will deliver the State of the Union before a joint session of Congress tonight with a focus on Vietnam and domestic Great Society goals. The address will be televised in color at 9 p.m. EST across the nation.
Congressman Charles A. Mosher predicted a sharp mood change in President Johnson's address to Congress. He recalled last year's optimistic keynote, but this year expects Johnson to acknowledge Washington's worry and call for firm policies with bipartisan support and global confidence.
