Lovers wed after 12 hour train delay in 1920 Willard
Joseph Holloway and Edith Burkett married at the Omaha courthouse after a 12 hour late arrival from sea duty era. Burkett, aged 21, became an American citizen and the couple later raised nine children and many grandchildren. They live with daughter in Wertz Road and plan to return to Sedalia, Missouri.
