Willard Councilman Dies by Suicide in Willard Area
Willard City Council member Harley E. Austin, 36, died of a gunshot wound near Center ton on Egypt Road. The coroner called it an apparent death by own action. Surviving are his wife Nancy Lou, two children Terri Rene and Douglas, his parents Edward and (Mrs.) Edward L. Austin, and two brothers Donald and Gene. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Fink Funeral Home with burial at New Haven Cemetery.
