Norwalk ZBA Denies Apartment Permit at 1 E League St
The Norwalk Board of Zoning Appeals rejected builder Robert White's request for a conditional use permit to convert 1 E. League St. into a three family residence. Neighbors protested over space and setback issues while White admitted the submitted drawing was for an old plan. The ruling ends a dispute involving six residents and ties the site to two family zoning despite White's sale plans and building history. The council meeting schedule for tonight in Tiffin was canceled and a Huron County Health Board meeting was postponed to Feb 9.
