One Subject At A Time At St Elizabeth High School
In Oakland California the Roman Catholic St Elizabeth High School plans to drop the standard six 45 minute classes per day for a one or two subject immersion. The experiment starts with January three week terms and May repeats to gauge enthusiasm. Students will study field trips astronomy law and office skills with breaks and real world activities. Parents approve of the innovative approach says principal John Appel.
